Our Handmade Soaps

We offer rustic, handmade soap made only in small batches.  We use traditional knowledge and high-quality ingredients and craft with modern techniques. Most of our offerings are cured in our sacred space.

We offer 3 main styles or methods of soap –Hot Process, Cold Process, and QuickBase (also called Melt & Pour) – each with their advantages. There are pros and cons to each method and some Makers specialize in one or more styles. Keep in mind, what you consider a con may be considered a pro for someone else.

Each method creates amazing handmade soap - we can all agree that it’s better than store-bought bars!

How to use handmade soap

Every batch of our soap is individually created & will bubble and lather differently.

  • Lather: Wet your skin with warm water, then rub the soap between your hands or on a loofah or washcloth to create a lather.
  • Massage: Gently massage the soap into your skin.
  • Rinse: Rinse off the soap to wash away dirt and bacteria.
  • Place your soap on a well draining soap dish or hang in an appropriate location in a Sisal Soap Saver Pouch.

Tips for caring for your handmade soap:

  • Store properly: Before using/opening, keep your soap in a dry, room-temperature location such as a linen closet or drawer.
  • After use, let it dry: Let your soap dry between uses so it lasts longer. Use a well draining soap dish or hang dry in an appropriate location in a Sisal Soap Saver Pouch.
  • Use within a year: While handmade soap can last for years, it's best to use it within a year of opening to enjoy its freshest scent and aroma.
