Ingredients & Packaging

We use the highest quality, truest to nature ingredients available to us. Artisan products are often considered higher quality than mass-produced goods that use machines in their production.

• We only use the highest quality ingredient we can obtain or make ourselves. We don’t skimp on ingredients because they’re expensive or because the wholesale price fluctuates - you and our creations are too important for us to do that.
• Our recipes are individually designed, and we choose to use the highest quality ingredients available to us.
• We source raw ingredients from ethical, cruelty free suppliers.
• Our palm oil is specifically sourced from the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) whose goal is to transform the palm oil industry to make it sustainable.
• Our fragrance oils and essential oils are top quality and are phthalate and paraben free.
• Most of our packaging is degradable, compostable, re-usable or recyclable. For soap, we specifically package in eco-friendly, compostable, airtight zip bags that are sturdy enough to be reused by you. These bags help preserve color and scent in your handmade soap.
  
• Our colorants are responsibly and cruelty-free micas, and premium oxides and ultramarines from MadMicas. Lab created mica is nature-identical and is free from impurities found in mined mica and and can be produced with a smoother, more consistent texture than natural mined mica.
  Lab-created mica avoids the environmental damage associated with natural mica mining, such as deforestation, soil erosion, and habitat loss as well as eliminates the risk of child labor and other ethical concerns associated with natural mica mining. Additionally, synthetic mica production is less energy-intensive than natural mica mining and processing.
